ADVALVE ULTRA

BIOPROSTHETIC AORTIC VALVE

A Lifetime of Confidence.

ADVALVE ULTRA is a new generation bovine pericardial semi-framed bioprosthesis, combining the superior haemodynamic performance of a stentless design with the implantation ease of a stented platform. Its superelastic nitinol wire form simulates natural biomechanics through the cardiac cycle, while aldehyde-free EGDGE fixation reduces calcium-binding potential and enables additional antithrombotic, antibacterial, and anti-calcification treatment.

Key Design Advantages

Aortic root illustrationProcedural illustration

Aortic Root Dynamics 1, 3

Does not create additional rigidity in the aortic root and is designed to avoid a stenosing effect, similar to frameless bioprosthesis behavior.

Procedural Efficiency 1, 2

Facilitates easier intra-operative manipulation, designed to help reduce the duration of the aortic cross-clamp.

Single-seam Implantation2,3

Integrated wire frame establishes a clear structural boundary, supporting a straightforward forward single-seam technique.

Simulated Biomechanics 2

Flexible nitinol frame designed to simulate natural biomechanical characteristics during the cardiac cycle.

EGDGE Fixation TechnologyAldehyde free

EGDGE Compound 97% PURITY

EGDGE reduces calcium-binding potential during basic fixation, facilitating additional antithrombotic, antibacterial, and anti-calcification treatment.

LMWH

Covalent binding designed to reduce platelet adhesion & aggregation, enhancing hemocompatibility

Anti-Calcium

Diphosphonates applied to inhibit the conversion of calcium phosphate into rigid hydroxyapatite deposits
