Artisential Surgeon Training Program in South Korea – A Major Leap Forward

As part of this commitment, AMS proudly facilitated the Artisential Surgeon Training Program in South Korea on June 19–20, 2025, bringing together nine distinguished Indian laparoscopic and colorectal surgeons for an immersive hands-on experience with robotic wristed instrumentation—a transformative milestone for minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in India.
Experiencing Surgical Innovation, Firsthand
This two-day journey was designed to go beyond conventional training. Hosted in collaboration with world-class hospitals and technology experts, the program offered participants a deep dive into the capabilities of Artisential, a groundbreaking laparoscopic instrument that combines robotic-like articulation with the simplicity and affordability of handheld tools.
Surgeons observed complex live colorectal procedures performed by leading Korean surgeons, gaining insights into advanced techniques and the real-world clinical application of Artisential in high-precision surgeries. These learnings were complemented with hands-on dry and wet lab simulations, where each participant practiced techniques, built muscle memory, and experienced the ergonomic and intuitive control that defines Artisential.
To complete the learning journey, participants were invited to the LivsMed manufacturing facility—home of Artisential. This behind-the-scenes tour provided exclusive access to the innovation ecosystem: from product design and R&D to quality assurance and global deployment.
