Revolutionizing Minimally Invasive Surgery in India
Artisential Surgeon Training Program in South Korea – A Major Leap Forward
We’re proud to announce the successful completion of the Artisential Training Program conducted in South Korea on June 19–20, 2025, with the participation of nine top Indian laparoscopic and colorectal surgeons. This two-day event marks a significant milestone in the journey of robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery adoption in India.

Advancing Minimally Invasive Surgery with Artisential
At Advanced MedTech Solutions (AMS), we’re not just distributing surgical tools—we’re enabling a new era in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery.
Artisential, a next-generation robotic wristed laparoscopic instrument, bridges the gap between conventional laparoscopy and full robotic surgery. It provides surgeons with enhanced precision, dexterity, and control, mimicking robotic wrist movement—without the complexity or high cost of robotic platforms. This is a disruptive surgical innovation that’s transforming MIS (minimally invasive surgery) worldwide, and India is next in line.
A Curated, Hands-On Training Program Designed for Maximum Impact
This exclusive surgeon training program was crafted to accelerate Artisential adoption in India. The format blended live surgical observership, dry lab and wet lab training, and an in-depth technology session with a factory visit to LivsMed, the manufacturer of Artisential.
Day 1: Observership & Dry Lab
Location: Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital
Day 1 began with live colorectal surgery observership, featuring three advanced laparoscopic procedures such as Lower Anterior Resection (LAR) and Right Hemicolectomy, performed by the eminent Dr. Yoon Suk Lee, a respected name in minimally invasive colorectal surgery in South Korea.
This was followed by a dry lab hands-on training session, allowing surgeons to gain tactile familiarity with Artisential’s robotic wristed instruments, focusing on hand-eye coordination, articulation techniques, and ergonomic instrument control.
Day 2: Wet Lab Simulation & LivsMed Factory Visit
Location: Seoul National University Hospital, Bundang
Day 2 was all about practical simulation and real-world application. Participants performed live surgical simulations using animal models at dedicated wet lab stations. Each surgeon got a chance to apply their preferred surgical approach using Artisential—building real-time confidence and muscle memory.
In the second half, the surgeons toured the LivsMed manufacturing facility, gaining behind-the-scenes access to the precision engineering, R&D, and quality assurance processes that go into making Artisential the leading robotic handheld surgical instrument.
Key Outcomes:
✔ Surgeons experienced the intuitive control and ergonomic benefits of Artisential firsthand.
✔ The immersive training enhanced their confidence in adopting the technology.
✔ The visit fostered trust in the technology and brand belief, which is essential for clinical adoption.
✔ All participants are now equipped to integrate Artisential into their practice and advocate for its use in India.
