ADVAWAX is indicated for use in the control of bleeding from bone surfaces.
ADVAWAX should not be used where rapid osseous regeneration and fusion is required.
ADVAWAX is non-absorbable. It achieves local hemostatis of bone by acting as a mechanical (tamponade) barrier. It does not act biochemically.
Using aseptic technique ADVAWAX slab can be taken in between fingers and warmed to the desired consistency and applied to the bone edge as per the requirement of the surgeon.
