EGDGE Treatment is a biological tissue fixation technology that uses ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (EGDGE) to crosslink collagen structures in bioprosthetic materials. Unlike traditional glutaraldehyde fixation, EGDGE preserves collagen's natural structure, reduces calcium-binding (thus lowering calcification risk), and enhances the biomechanical, hemocompatibility, and biocompatibility properties of the biomaterial, improving long-term clinical outcomes for cardiovascular implants​
